Move over, Ellen DeGeneres. When it comes to celebrity real estate, there may be no match for the host who frequently buys and sells high-end homes. Over the past few years, DeGeneres and her wife, Portia De Rossi, have been among the biggest movers and shakers in the celebrity real estate game.

However, in 2015, celebrity homes racking up the most views on Zillow are owned by a group of comedians, actors and a former Olympic gold medalist. The estates belonging to Dennis Miller, Steve Martin, Patrick Dempsey and Caitlyn Jenner are now vying for the title of “Coolest Celebrity Crib.’’

A little bit south, Patrick Dempsey decided to part with his Malibu abode designed by none other than Frank Gehry, not long after buying an astonishingly modern home in Venice Beach. With a divorce pending with his wife, maybe it was time for Dempsey to consolidate his real estate holdings. The former “Grey’s Anatomy” dialed up a winner, getting $15 million — or $500,000 over the $14.5 million list price.

Dempsey wasn’t the only one wheeling and dealing in the beachy L.A. outpost. The woman formerly known as Bruce Jenner was also a big player in the Malibu real estate market this past year.

After splitting from wife Kris in order to fulfill a life desire to transition to being a woman, Caitlyn re-emerged into the public eye — newly settled in a stunning Malibu modern. Perched on top of a hill, the 11-acre compound seemed the perfectly protected yet sophisticated landing pad.
