Celebrity News: Meg Ryan’s Outstanding Tribeca Condo – Meg Ryan really knows how to pick her neighbors. The actress just purchased a condo in the same Tribeca building that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lawrence, Harry Styles, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, all reportedly own apartments in. Ryan picked up a 3,155-square-foot unit for $9 million (compare the Timberlakes’ recent $20 million penthouse purchase), with three bedrooms and three baths.
The condo comes with all the building amenities, including a 71-foot indoor pool, a Turkish bath, a wine cellar and a rooftop terrace—meaning Ryan will have plenty of opportunities to run into her celeb neighbors while swimming laps or taking in the city views.
Ryan will be moving from her SoHo loft, which she listed for $11 million after working with designer Monique Gibson and architect Joel Barkley to redesign the space with a mixture of salvaged goods and new materials.
Fine artist Dean Barger did the wall mural. It was the ninth home she revamped—which her son, Jack, termed “Meg-anizing”—and she’s likely to do it for a tenth time. “I know it sounds crazy to most people, the idea of renovating that many houses,” Ryan told AD when she appeared on the November 2016 cover, “But I love renovating. I think it’s tied to living the actor’s life. As an actor, you are so rarely in control. You’re always saying words that someone else has given you, standing in a room that someone else has designed, to create a reality that someone else wants to see. But with decorating I am in control; it’s a chance for me to bring my vision into the world.”
