Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Huge Four-Story Mansion in Brooklyn NYC – Emily Blunt and John Krasinski sold a huge four-story mansion in Brooklyn, New York, for $ 6.5 million. The house was in the market since the end of last year, having been announced for eight million dollars, reason why Blunt and Krasinski closed the business for a lower value than the request initially.
At the time the couple put their home on the market last September, Krasinski told the Wall Street Journal that they just couldn’t justify owning the property anymore since they were away so much. ““The house is so special — someone who can spend every night there should have it,” Krasinski told the Journal at the time.
Though the couple spent less than a year in the house, they brought on Michael Ingui of Baxt Ingui Architects to modernize the four-story home, while still preserving the historic details of the 1909 townhouse. As a result the house is a lovely mix of stained glass windows, skylights, and modern upgrades like radiant heated floors, and the swanky, state of-the-art kitchen.
In all, the townhouse has seven bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a lovely backyard, and a terrace. It was a pretty quick turnaround on the townhouse for Krasinski and Blunt, who recently starred in the critically and commercially-successful A Quiet Place.
