The 35-year-old face of Miss Dior kept her primary Los Angeles home while in France, but her newest real estate venture is nearly five times the size, and it looks like Portman is ready to trade in city life for the quiet countryside…at least on the weekends.
According to Trulia, the 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom house stretches 3,991 square feet on a hill in Santa Barbara County, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The Barton Meyers-designed house was built using an amplified indoor-outdoor plan: The kitchen, living room and dining room all feature glass garage doors that lead out onto 10.4 acres of perfectly-manicured greenery. It is made entirely of steel, glass and concrete, bringing an industrial chic look to the country abode.
