Celebrity News: Mel Gibson House in Costa Rica – The 58-year-old Australian-raised star is hoping to offload the tropical sanctuary, situated on the remote Nicoya peninsular, for a whopping US$29.8million.
Three coralstone homes are each perched on separate hilltops in the middle of the thick jungle with the largest, Casa Guanacaste, boasting seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The tropical retreat was originally listed in 2010 for $35 million but later taken off the market before then being relisted.

Exclusive real estate agent Christie’s is marketing the estate and a video clip of the sprawling property shows views from multiple verandahs overlooking acres of vibrant jungle and the white sand beaches of Barrigona on the remote Nicoya peninsula.

He is also the proud owner of numerous properties dotted around Australia where he spent his formative years studying before finding fame and moving Stateside. Aside from residential and rural property, Catholic Gibson has reportedly ploughed some of his fortune into building Catholic churches.
