Moooi A Life Extraordinary in Milan Design Week 2022 – Moooi’s multi-sensory exhibition called A Life Extraordinary welcomes design enthusiasts online and on-site to the city at the Salone dei Tessuti in Via S.Gregorio, 29. The worlds of design and technology, the digital and the physical, intersect as the brand introduces new design collaborations, furnishings and moods alongside partnerships with IDEO and LG.
Innovative scent machines powered by robots and dancing are scattered throughout the venue as visitors enter the exhibition. Piro is developed by IDEO, dance publishers that add another sensual layer through scent, movement and interaction. The sequences have been carefully designed by dancer, choreographer, and roboticist Katie Kwan to highlight the engaging and exceptional environment.
The environment envisioned by LG OLED achieves an eclectic blend of the best in design, lifestyle and technology. It marks the next chapter as the South Korean tech manufacturer embarks on a mission to elevate the world of interior design with its smart products. The soon-to-be-launched LG OLED Object Collection, Easel and Posé products blend with home favorites such as LG Curved OLED Signage displays, LG Eclair soundbar sound systems, EXBOOM 360 soundbar and more. The models differ from traditional ones – fitting for the exceptional Moooi showroom – thanks to their unique form factors and finishes.
Four interior styles create spaces in both the physical and digital world. Launched in 2021, Interiors creates an inclusive environment for bespoke product designs, room fragrances, rugs and wall coverings. Visitors are welcomed into the pink landscape of Beauty Blooms where the Hortensia armchair Andrés Reisinger and Júlia Esqúe take center stage in fresh colors. Floating the Gravity Chandelier by Paul Cocksedge is submerged in the deep waters of the Defy Gravity. Lukas Bazle’s Plié Plissé populates the colorful folds of playing cards, accompanied by No Screw No Glue by Joost van Bleiswijk. For Salone del Mobile 2022, a new interior room – Devine Dreams – includes a new design by Cristina Celestino.
