Step Inside an Eclectic Mansion In Saudi Arabia – If architecture and interior design are to be truly defined as an art form, this is it, the stunning new project in Saudi Arabia. In their latest collaboration, Delightfull joined forces with Jason Harris, CEO and Creative Director of UDesign Architect Studio, to create “The Palace” – an extraordinary in scope and eclecticism project. The stunning new home, aptly called, is truly something from a fairy-tale, featuring Covet House’s pieces. A place that was both comfortable and functional, ideal for family living and for entertaining. Saudi Arabia is a hot, flat country, with very few green hills or trees. Everything outside is generally desert. For that reason, Jason and his team wanted to create a private self-contained oasis both around and within the core structure.
Its clean, linear form is softened with spectacular landscaping in the shape of a series of gardens that wrap around and continue inside the home. Some houses are so unlike anything we’ve seen before, so extraordinarily beautiful, that they could, with a forgivable amount of hyperbole, be called works of art. While the exterior may recall international modernism, the interior is all about European culture, art, and fine materials all chosen, crafted, and placed to form a dazzling mise-en-scène. White, marble, and metallic surfaces contrast with an abundance of garden views throughout the home and are punctuated by museum-worthy art and design pieces from Covet House.
Entrance Lounge
The first thing you notice is this wonderful enormous solid granite sculpture which appears to be floating on the water giving you a small glimpse of the courtyard and pool beyond, inviting you in further. The floor-to-ceiling hand sculptured mosaic pillars add grandiosity. It is not about one specific style, it is about a whole combination of different cultures, ideas, traditions, textures, and materials to create a unique and original concept.
Contrasting with the hardness and coldness of the marbles metals is the Fitzgerald Modular Sofa from Essential Home, where its cozy and comfortable appeal turn this lounge area into a perfect conversation starter, especially in this case, where it’s combined with the new addition from Boca do Lobo, the Navarra Center Table.

Diamond Amethyst Sideboard is a reflection of the furniture jeweler’s expertise and quintessence, undoubtedly deserving its title. This opulent object, full of resources and desire, has two carefully sculpted doors that reveal a gold-lined interior with shelves and two drawers. This piece is inspired by the gothic furniture of the romantic period, with its capacity to take advantage of the power of imagination, precision, and escape, without forgetting its unique character.
Formal Living Room
The idea was to create a feeling of entering a luxurious hotel whilst still being a family home, an art gallery. All together. A space that can be for entertaining and socializing with guests but also comfortable and practical. This is a room with different seating areas in order to enjoy the different design installations from every angle. It is not just about the furniture, it’s about the walls, the sculptures, the lighting, the art, the water, the natural elements that will allow you to experience and appreciate all those different layers of textures and materials. A mix of items, comprised of some of the best-selling pieces from Covet House, like the Imperfectio Sofa and Armchair from Boca do Lobo, Jute Round Rug from Caffe Latte Home, the Darian II Side Table from Luxxu, and the true eye-catching piece, the Matheny Chandelier from Delightfull.

Consisting of two individual modules, the Lapiaz Sideboard is finished in polished stainless steel that portrays a perfect mirror, with a poplar root wood veneer on the inside. Curated design goes hand in hand with artistic elements and Lapiaz is a reflection of that. How beautiful is it?
Oscar Rug by Rug’Society
Cubist inspiration, deconstruction of classical concepts in simple and solid planes where the mix between current patterns in period representations is made. Oscar is the Maculina representation of the classical canons of ancient Greece. A cubist language that refers us to a half-hybrid figure because to date the canons of the human body were represented in a universal way, the figures were worked roughly with some delicate features.
Hallway
Combining classic opulence colorful with different textures. Walking through that hallway is anything but boring! You will directly feel the eccentricity of the space. Every object is meticulously placed together to create an aesthetic of interest and beauty. Brabbu‘s best-selling Essex Armchair, this time presented in a much vibrant color, is the ideal antithesis for the monochromatic Adler Rug from Rug’Society. Both pieces welcome the visitor into an almost futuristic and ethereal realm of design.
