Fashion Designer Philipp Plein’s Bel Air Mansion – The German fashion designer – who owns clothing brands Philipp Plein, Plein Sport, and Billionaire brand – revealed earlier in August that he would be building his dream house in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Known intimately as the Chateau Falcon View, Plein’s property sits on a sizeable 3.6 acres of land he first purchased in 2014, and is rumoured to have cost around $280 million.

When Plein first made the announcement on Instagram, he wrote: “It all started with a dream when I was 16! 26 years later I can see the dream come true!!! THIS LAND WAS PURCHASED BY ME IN 2014! Originally it was once owned by the legendary MULTIBILLIONAIRE Howard Hughes! LEGENDARY ENTREPRENEUR, FILMMAKER, AVIATOR AND PLAYBOY!”

Features include engraved doorknobs, laser-etched cocktail glasses, 200 “costume vases,” hand-painted wallpaper printed with lyrics from Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute, leopard print ceilings, “fairtytale jungle” wallpaper, a 24k gold gaming arcade, marble gladiator statues, a Beauty and the Beast inspired staircase, a diamond shaped bathtub and a number of Swarovski chandeliers.
