New House: DJ Khaled’s Miami Beach Estate – The hitmaker has picked up a nine-bedroom home that comes complete with an 80-foot pool for $25.9 million. For DJ Khaled, buying this mansion must have been a “No Brainer”: The hitmaker just picked up a $25.9 million Miami Beach estate that was previously owned by Michael Lerner, the marketer and childproofing productmaker who popularized the famous yellow “Baby on Board” signs. The 12,750-square-foot home has five bedrooms in the main house (an additional four in the guest house), an elevator, a safe room, a two-level gazebo, a home theater, an outdoor shower, and a fireplace. Along with the guesthouse, the limestone estate also has an 80-foot-long swimming pool, and 10.5 bathrooms in total.
Lerner had the house, which was designed by Cesar Molina, furnished by Holly Hunt & Christian Liagre (no word on whether Khaled purchased the decor along with the estate), and the wall treatments, millwork, and textiles were all selected by Holly Hunt as well. The design of the home has a specific focus on meditation and calmness, which is epitomized in the Curmaru wood overhangs and mahogany windows and doors. The indoor and outdoor spaces blend together thanks to an expansive outdoor courtyard, making it the ideal Miami Beach home. According to the Wall Street Journal, Eloy Carmenate and Mick Duchon of Douglas Elliman and Orli Rudolph of NextHome Realty Professionals, who handled the sale for Khaled, declined to comment on it.
