Rachel Bilson is well known for her role in teen series Orange Country as Summer Roberts, but at the moment she plays Dr. Zoe Hart in the TV serie Hart of Dixie.
Now she’s grown up and her life is no more a drama as it was in the two TV Series. Rachel is living in a remodeled contemporary ranch-style abode in the hills of L.A, which is the result of what happens when a midcentury-leaning minimalist meets a girl with more bohemian tastes, wih her husband – Hayden Christensen – one of the stars in the Star Wars movies. They started dating in 2007 and now it’s time for living together.
A living room with an oversized velvet sofa, mixed throw pillows and a rough-hewn coffee table. A comfortably host to have lots of friends and family.
The previous iteration of the fireplace had a wavy ceramic tile that drew the eye too much.
Rachel Bilson only asks for one thing, her antique piano with her beloved mermaid sculpture and a collection of framed art she and Christensen selected.
In the Outdoor, clean lines of mid-20th century furniture anchor the space, enabling it to take on more textural elements, like a vintage armchair grouped with a wood floor lamp, potted plants and a Ralph Lauren rug.
But the backyard has an incredible garden masterminded by Bilson’s stepmother, Heather. The tiered beds feature seasonal crops such as kale, carrots, beets, and elephant garlic and the plans include a small vineyard, an outdoor kitchen and chickens!!
The interior was designed by Kishani Perera, an interior designer “Known for her unique vision and innovative approach, her love for design and all things vintage even inspired the birth of her very own retail boutique, Rummage. Showcasing her edgy and all embracing aesthetic, Rummage is a carefully collected group of both antique and custom pieces which illustrate her design philosophy and spirit.”
