The Portuguese Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed that he broke up with his girlfriend Irina Shayk, in a communication to The Associated Press (AP). After 5 years, the rumors about the end of the relationship started because the Russian model did not accompany Ronaldo when he won the FIFA Ballon d’Or award. At the ceremony Ronaldo didn’t even tell a word about Irina in his victory speech, so everyone started to wonder what happened. In the communication to AP Ronaldo said: “after dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end” (…) “we believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now”, and Ronaldo ended whishing Irina “the greatest happiness”.
