Celebrity Homes: Kate Upton and Justin Verlander’s New Mansion – The model and Detroit Tigers pitcher just closed on a $5.25 million estate in Beverly Hills, and it has just about everything outside of a baseball diamond.
For one, the traditional residence has the kind of extensive history that could exist only in Los Angeles.
The 5,706-square-foot home, which was built in 1976, previously belonged to musician Kenny G, who sold the house to tennis legend Pete Sampras. It was also occupied by blockbuster producer Jon Peters of Man of Steel and Batman fame, Charlie’s Angels actress Kate Jackson, and TV producer-director William Asher, the Los Angeles Times reports.

With that kind of high-profile pedigree, you can bet the house offers the utmost privacy. Situated behind gates in Benedict Canyon, the one-and-a-half-acre property has a pool and spa, a tennis court, multiple outdoor lounge areas, and a maid’s room and bonus room with its own entrance.
Even with a full house, Upton and Verlander will still have plenty of privacy. The expansive master suite includes a fireplace as well as his-and-hers closets.
Another highlight is the remodeled kitchen, which has a gigantic island and opens up to a wet bar with an island of its own.
