Celebrity Homes: Michael Bay Los Angeles Home – Michael Bay, director of super mega hit films such as “Transformers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Armageddon” has a beautiful home in Los Angeles but I’m sorry to inform you there is no explosion machine.
There is, however, an awesome shower that overlooks the city, an entire wall that opens up like a DeLorean and a really great collection of cars.

Bay was the cause of some internet jokes because of his uses of explosions lately. He is known for directing big-budget action films characterized by fast cutting, stylistic visuals and extensive use of special effects, including frequent depiction of explosions.
Bay hired Oppenheim Architects to design a home in Los Angeles, California a few years back and this was the result. The result is this beautiful 30,000 square foot California mega mansion dubbed “L.A. Villa” by the architect. This was first showcased about a year ago on Architectural Digest. Michael Bay’s house is not for sale and the location is approximate.
From the architect, OppenHeim Architecture: “The house immerses itself into the hillside and accentuates the distinct views of both Los Angeles and the Santa Monica mountain range. The two master bedroom modules hover above and further frame this unique condition. The swimming pool dramatically establishes the cliff’s edge, even extending beyond it at one end. Concealed within the hillside are a large theater, movie prop museum, parking, spa and bedrooms.”
