Celebrity Homes: Obama Family Vacation in Bali – There’s never a dull moment when summering with the Obamas! Barack and Michelle Obama are currently enjoying some quality family time with their girls, Sasha and Malia, in Bali, and the former First Family has pulled all the stops to sightsee and experience the colorful culture there.
On Monday, the family of four went white-water rafting down the Ayung River clad in matching life vests and yellow helmets. In the days following, the family visited the Tirtha Empul Temple, an ancient water temple with holy springs believed to have magical powers; Tampaksiring Village and the Jatiluwih rice terraces; and the Borobudur Temple in Java.
In keeping with tradition, Michelle, Sasha, and Malia all donned matching yellow patterned sarongs for their trip to the temple, paying respect to the Indonesian culture. Malia, who paired her sarong with a black Alexander Wang graphic tee, made sure to document the trip with a camera in hand. The former president, on the other hand, opted for a simple white polo tee and his favorite dad-jeans-and-sneakers combo.
