Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have moved forward another step in their relationship, after reportedly splashing the cash on a 12-bedroom estate in Somerset.
The couple – who got engaged recently – are said to have shown their interest in the house, which is said to be worth £13million, and are hoping to raise a family there.
The Downton Abbey-esque property boasts eight bathrooms and a sprawling 850 acres of land but the couple are believed to be fighting off stiff competition from other interested buyers.
Apparently, the estate has also been viewed by a South African who wants to create a new version of celebrity-favourite Babington House, which is based in Bath.
Johnny depp and Amber Heard have reportedly shown interest in this Somerset estate. For now, Johnny and Amber are said to be planning a “low-key wedding” on the actor’s private island in the Bahamas later this year after it was revealed they were engaged earlier this month. Amber and Johnny first met when they starred together in 2011’s The Rum Diary but didn’t get together until 2012 after the breakdown of his 14 year relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has Lily Rose,14, and Jack, 11. They will enjoy cooking in their spacious kitchen!
