This is one of the most luxurious penthouses in New York and definitely one of the most expensive condos in Manhattan with an asking price of $72,000,000. This extreme mega penthouse has three floors and is the former home of Rupert Murdoch (apparently he is the current owner and the seller but this is unconfirmed). This is one of Manhattan’s most extreme condos and there are several other units available inside the beautiful building.

The building was originally designed by the architectural firm Cetra/Ruddy and the apartment was redone by Jose Ramirez, according to Curbed.

Nicolai Ouroussoff, the architecture critic for the New York Times, called One Madison Park “a dazzling addition to a street that includes two of the city’s most celebrated skyscrapers: Pierre LeBrun’s 1909 Metropolitan Life Tower, across the street, and Daniel Burnham’s 1903 Flatiron building, a half block west. It jolts the neighborhood into the present.”
