Jamie Dornan’s Gorgeous Glass LA Home – Just about everything in Jamie Dornan’s stunning Los Angeles home is sleek and sunlit, a far cry from the dark, mysterious vibe of his Fifty Shades of Grey character’s Seattle penthouse.
The Irish actor, who spends the majority of his time in Europe, recently listed the airy four bedroom, four bathroom home with Jeff Kohl of The Agency, so fans of the romance series now have the chance to snap up the stylish crash pad. Originally built in 1959, the modern home was renovated and expanded in 1966 to provide an even more open-air vibe, taking advantage of the sunny California weather with the ultimate indoor-outdoor balance.
A glass box atrium sits in the middle of the abode, which automatically floods all the common areas of the home with light. The laid-back living room features a fireplace and a view of the sunlit atrium, the kitchen boasts an overhanging counter and a stove range that also similarly faces the center atrium, and the dining room area features a hanging glass lightbulb chandelier. Dornan is selling the house for $3.2 million.
The master bedroom sits just adjacent to the outdoor space and features a floor-to-ceiling glass door that opens out directly onto the pool area, with an en suite bathroom that features a deep-brick-red pattern of modern geometric bathroom tiles as well as a walk-through closet. Other enviable amenities of the home include a substantial deck area by the pool and spa with a fire pit, and access points from two guest bedrooms to a bonus side yard. Dornan originally purchased the home in 2016 but has lived there infrequently due to maintaining his home base in Europe.
