Now You Can Live at 10 Things I Hate About You House – You can live in the home where the movie was filmed for a cool $1.6 million.
Homebuyers looking for a new house to purchase can now own a little piece of ’90s nostalgia while they’re at it, because the actual house from 10 Things I Hate About You is up for sale.
The five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom Victorian property located in Tacoma, Washington, is the exact location where several scenes of the classic 1999 movie were filmed, The News Tribune reports.
The teen drama starred the late Heath Ledger as Patrick Verona, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cameron James, and Julia Stiles and Larisa Olyenik as sisters Kat and Bianca Stratford.
Fans of the film will remember some of the iconic scenes that took place inside the home, including Bianca’s overprotective father strapping a fake pregnancy belly to her stomach, Kat squealing in excitement over her Sarah Lawrence College acceptance letters, and the sisters heading out to prom.
Keller Williams Realty has priced the home at $1.6 million. Real estate agent Jeff Jensen told Refinery29 that this is the first time the house has been put on the market in 30 years. It is 5,760 sq. ft, has stained glass windows, carved wood stair railings and mantelpieces.

From the pictures Jenson provided to HarpersBAZAAR.com, below, it is apparent that the house has not changed much from when the movie was shot twenty years ago. There have been, however, a few modern updates, including a finished basement with a party bar and a granite island in the kitchen area.
