Step Inside Madonna’s House in Lisbon – Madonna moved to Lisbon in but, like many Portuguese, she has had difficulty finding a house in the capital. During the last months she has lived with her children in the Pestana Palace Lisbon. However, the singer leaved the luxury hotel to move to the Palácio do Ramalhete, which portuguese writter Eça de Queiroz describes in the book Os Maias.
An example of eighteenth-century Portuguese architecture, this four-star hotel has 12 rooms, all of which are different from each other, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. CNN has already described it as a place that “screams Lisbon authenticity” and The Times considered it one of the sexiest hotels in Europe.
It may not be the final stop in her quest for the perfect home in Lisbon, but pop icon Madonna is moving out of the Pestana Palace hotel and taking the youngest members of her family to the 16-bed Palácio Ramalhete in Janelas Verdes, Lisbon.
