He was the recipient of the 2009 Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Chair’s Award. He also received the 2009 CHCI Chair’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Sheathed in American pine, a guest bath is equipped with Hansgrohe shower and sink fittings. A guest room features an American-pine armchair and table devised by DM Dominicana.
