Interview with Cheryl Eisen from Interior Marketing Group – Interior Marketing Group (IMG) is the largest luxury real estate design and marketing firm in the United States. In addition to providing interior design services to luxury homeowners, their award-winning staging and Interior Marketing services enable the most coveted properties and developments in the world to sell faster and at greater multiples than the market’s average. Founded in 2007 by real estate agent turned designer, Cheryl Eisen, the unique concept of Interior Marketing was conceived from her distinct understanding of what drives buyer decision-making. Curious? Have a look and discover more about IMG in this exclusive interview!
Well, first things first. When we asked Cheryl Eisen about what she loves the most in her work, she was promptly said “I love that I get to be creative and strategic simultaneously and that no two days are alike”. However, her story is also about challenges and how to overcome them – “COVID-19 created one of the most difficult times in my career. There was so much devastation and uncertainty. Fortunately, we were able to pivot and create new offerings – like our E-Commerce and Digital Design divisions – and right-size the business”.
Cheryl Eisen is always looking for new possibilities – “We’ve recently deepened our stake in Florida real estate markets and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow the business on a national level”. “Seeing how this company has impacted employees’ lives and given them careers, not just jobs. It always warms my heart to see how their careers define who they are and I love seeing all of the friendships and relationships that are born out of IMG… even babies!”, she told us!
“We have some amazingly devoted followers who I know by name, have met at events, and personally respond to comments on social media. We love to inspire people”. – Cheryl Eisen
Of course, we had to ask about her recent projects. “We are constantly responding to what the market needs right now. In a seller’s market where homes are flying off the shelves, buyers need furniture quickly. Increased demand, coupled with COVID-19 furniture manufacturing and logistics backlogs makes it very challenging to furnish a new home. We’ve recently revamped our luxury furniture rental offering to help buyers and renters get the highly curated designs they crave installed in a matter of days”.
“We’re seeing a lot more organic shapes and more original, unique-looking pieces”. – Cheryl Eisen
Also, Cheryl Eisen gave us an insight when we asked about her future projects. “We’ve just completed design work at the iconic Woolworth Tower Residences’ Pinnacle Penthouse. The formal launch will be in the fall, but we were thrilled to work with two amazing lighting companies, Stickbulb and Cameron Design House, who created bespoke fixtures specifically for the one-of-a-kind property”.
I’m hoping for more responsible, environmentally-friendly products. More locally-sourced products that help promote American businesses”. – Cheryl Eisen
