Beyoncé and Jay-Z Buying New Bel Air Mansion – It seems like Beyoncé and Jay-Z are ready to move Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir out of their $40,000-per-month rental and into a new $90 million home.
Although the deal is yet to be finalized, the family has reportedly created an agreement to purchase a Bel Air home. The sale would be the highest recorded in Los Angeles County this year, but it is still a deep discount from the original $135 million asking price according to Trulia. The 30,000-square-foot residence was designed by architect Paul McClean and comprises six separate structures connected by 10,000 square feet of finished outdoor space.
The eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom home has a modern design, with dark hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and plenty of built-ins throughout. A theater room with dimming recessed lighting enhances the movie-watching experience, and tiered seating makes sure that no one’s view is blocked. A recording studio will allow the music moguls to secretly create their next albums for another midnight iTunes drop. The master bedroom has a private terrace behind glass walls—all of which are bulletproof—and the master bath is completely styled with slab stone floors and walls. Outside, four swimming pools, a basketball court, 15-car motor court and multiple patios and terraces offer an oasis from the city below while providing a sweeping view.
