“They loved the original light fixture, so we worked our color story around it,” says Blazek of the chandelier-like light fixture that came with the home. Blazek kept the 90-year-old home light and airy to complement the incredible view, but added pops of color and vintage pieces to embrace List’s bohemian style.
“We used a vintage table we had picked up at a local estate sale company, and we paired it with powdered coated benches. We always try to lay in as many plants as we can, and we used a lot of vintage oil paintings from flea markets,” says Blazek of the breakfast nook area.

The renovation and decoration left the space open for entertaining for the 19-year-old actress. “I love writing. I’m trying to write more. This is a good space. I’ve never had my own office. It’s kind of insane to me. I feel legit now,” says List. “We worked with a local artist, Cindy Zell, who makes fiber art, and curated the room around her pieces,” explains Blazek.
