Celebrity News: Buy Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s Chicago Home – Former reality star and accessories designer Kristin Cavallari is best known for her gallivanting through Laguna Beach and The Hills, but now it’s her Midwest home that’s making headlines. Cavallari and her husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, have listed their mansion in the Chicago suburb of Lake Forest.
Trulia reports that the 7-bedroom, 10-bath home, built in 2013, is currently listed at $4.75 million. The 11,000-square-foot sprawl boasts hardwood flooring, a winding staircase, and a spacious, marble-accented kitchen, plus amenities including an indoor basketball court, a wine cellar, a screening room, and five fireplaces to keep the home warm on those cold Chicago nights. The couple purchased the home in 2014 for $4.25 million.

The change of venue is likely due to Cutler’s departure from the Chicago Bears. The former quarterback recently announced his retirement from the sport and his new gig as a contributor on Fox Sports. People reported in April that Cutler, Cavallari, and their three children were set to relocate to Nashville. The move, says Cavallari, was bittersweet, though she’s looking forward to planting new roots in a new city.

“I have to say I’m kind of sad,” Cavallari told People. “My mom is in Chicago. I’ve made a lot of really good friends, so I definitely am sad…[but] knowing that we’re going to be there for a very long time, if not forever, is a very exciting thing for me because my life is so hectic and so crazy that having a permanent home base is very comforting to me.”
