Celebrity News: David Arquette Buys Kate Walsh’s Ranch – 13 Reasons Why atress Kate Walsh is about to get $4.6 million richer. Actor David Arquette just bought her 4,332-square-foot ranch-inspired home in the beautiful Royal Oaks neighborhood of Encino, California according to Trulia.
Arquette’s new home was built in 1950 and features three en-suite bedrooms. French windows and wooden beams accent the open living room, which boasts a fireplace at its center, and the dining room is offset by glass doors that open up right to the heated swimming pool, lounge chairs and outdoor eating area.
The newly renovated kitchen includes no shortage of storage space, a subway tile backsplash, butcher block counter top and a marble island and seating area, which is offset by a rustic lounge area to cozy up with a good book and piping hot cup of tea. While the majority of the bathrooms feature marble and dark wood, a smaller, funkier bathroom features a chalkboard wall where the Arquette boys will happily be able to write on the walls, and the vast media room offers floor-to-ceiling bookshelves.
Additional outdoor areas include a tennis court and woodsy area complete with picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a bonfire pit. Every room of the house offers tremendous light, whether from one of the several sliding glass doors off the bedrooms that lead right to the grounds or a skylight. Despite the light that emanates through the ranch, Arquette’s new home feels tucked away and private, with an overflow of serenity.
