Celebrity Homes: Step Inside Joy Behar New Condo in NYC – The co-host of The View listed her three-bedroom, three-bathroom co-op in the exclusive Astor Court building for $3.5 million after buying a two-bedroom, three-bathroom condo less than 30 blocks south in Lincoln Square for $2.4 million.

Behar purchased the home she is leaving in 2008 for $2.55 million. The entrance is a 20-foot-long gallery with a black and white-patterend marble floor leading straight to an open-floor dining and living room. Dark oak hardwood floors, a thin gold chandelier, white crown molding and a wall of built-ins characterize the elegant, 50-foot-long space. The chef’s kitchen has white cabinets, wide white wall tiles and black granite countertops and opens to the dining and living room over a snack counter with bar seating. The Emmy-winner’s golden statuette is on display in the office near a window overlooking the street below. The master suite features a bedroom with a spacious walk-in closet and a sleek grey-toned bathroom with a huge walk-in shower.

While her old home is traditional, her new home is contemporary with light, basket weave hardwood floors throughout. The L-shaped living room has two walls of windows with 15th-floor views. The airy kitchen is all white, save the grey tiled floor, but the real gem of the home is found in the master bedroom, where glass doors provide access to a private balcony overlooking Central Park with plenty of space for outdoor furniture.
